It is cancer that collects and develops in the prostate gland. The prostate gland controls the secretion of semen, which grows and transports sperm cells. Most prostate cancers are sometimes slow growing, but there are some cases that are more severe and serious. Cancer cells can spread from the prostate to other areas of the body, specifically the bones and lymph nodes. Prostate cancer can lead to pain, difficulty urinating, sexual intercourse or erectile dysfunction. Other symptoms may develop during advanced periods of the disease.
